Ashdon Pupils Dancing at Saffron Hall!!
On Tuesday, 18th March, our KS2 pupils took to the stage at Saffron Hall to showcase their dance talents in a memorable performance. The children captivated the audience with their energetic routine choreographed to Robbie Williams' hit song 'Rock DJ'.What made our school's performance particularly special was the inclusion of our Year 2 pupils—we were the only school to feature younger children alongside the KS2 performers. These brave Year 2 students rose magnificently to the challenge, dancing confidently alongside their older schoolmates. "I was incredibly proud of how all our children performed, especially our Year 2s who showed remarkable courage and skill," said Mrs Johnson, who helped coordinate the performance. Following the dance competition, all participating pupils received certificates recognising their participation, representation of the school, and excellent teamwork. They were also awarded special commemorative stickers to celebrate their achievement. During our celebration assembly, the whole school enjoyed watching a video clip of the performance, sharing in the pride and excitement of the occasion. If you would like to see our talented dancers in action, please click on the image on the right to view their performance.
